A Safe and Welcoming Space for Families

Located at the end of Cornwallis Avenue, adjacent to the garages, the Cornwallis Avenue Play Area is owned and maintained by Linton Parish Council and provides a valuable recreational space for local families and young people.

Set within a peaceful green open space, the play area offers a safe and welcoming environment where children can play, families can spend time together and residents can enjoy the outdoors. Surrounded by mature trees and open grassland, it is a quiet corner of the village that is ideal for recreation and relaxation.

The play area has recently benefited from refurbishment and is inspected and maintained regularly to help ensure it remains safe, clean and enjoyable for everyone. An annual independent playground inspection is also carried out to assess the condition of the equipment and identify any maintenance requirements, helping the Parish Council maintain high safety standards.

โญ Looking After the Play Area

Linton Parish Council is committed to providing a safe and attractive environment for residents to enjoy.

To help keep the play area in excellent condition, the Council carries out regular inspections and maintenance throughout the year. Equipment is independently inspected annually in accordance with recognised playground safety standards, and any maintenance or repairs identified are scheduled as part of the Council's ongoing maintenance programme.

๐Ÿšฒ Respecting the equipment and reporting any damage or safety concerns to the Parish Council.
