Kent Downs Management Plan Consultation

The draft Kent Downs National Landscape Management Plan consultation is now live, and open until Sunday 19 July 2026.
This is a key opportunity for local communities, including parish councils, residents, landowners, farmers, businesses and organisations, to help shape the future of the Kent Downs National Landscape.
The Management Plan guides long-term priorities for the Kent Downs, including:
- Nature recovery and biodiversity
- Farming and land management
- Climate resilience
- Access, recreation and tourism
- Planning and sustainable development
It is used by local authorities and partners to help shape decisions affecting the landscape.
Have your say
The draft Plan has been shaped by earlier engagement with over 1,200 people and organisations, and we now want to hear further views before it is finalised.
